Job summary

Pegasus Logistics Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations, oversee receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, and ensure smooth workflows on the warehouse floor.

The role requires a strong supervisory background, English proficiency, and the ability to work with WMS/ERP systems, continually improving processes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of related area experience as an individual contributor.
• Strong technical and supervisory skills to direct assist staff.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory.
• Optimize layouts, workflows, and use of warehouse space.
• Monitor safety and security of goods and materials.

Job Profile Summary:

Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
• Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.
• Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
• Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.
• Implements strong safety polices and procedures
• Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Associate degree or its equivalent.
• Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.
• Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of functional area
• 3+ years of experience in related area as an individual contributor
• Strong technical and supervisory skills to direct assist staff
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 2+ years in a warehouse lead or supervisory role

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
• Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
