Position Overview:
The Distribution Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring the receiving, storage and distribution of items received from suppliers and ensures smooth and consistent operations. Responsible for overall administrative activities for the warehouse and employees. The Distribution Supervisor must be self-managed, detail oriented, creative with project resources and able to coach staff.
Essential Job Functions:
• Supervises overall administrative activities for the warehouse and employees
• Ensures staff is compliant with all applicable requirements and adhere to company’s policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot problems including shortage of equipment and proper staffing.
• Ensures warehouse is compliant with regulatory requirements and is “Audit Ready”
• Ensures Patient Service Technicians are compliant with all applicable requirements which includes:
o Providing documents for the driver qualification file
o Proper route sheet completion
o Vehicle Inspections
o Complete required trainings
• Updates timecards daily, ensure staff is compliant with timecard punches for scheduled shift and meal breaks
• Must be able to supervise employees, provide warehouse management and answer escalated calls.
• Supervise and evaluate staff, maintain and alter office areas and equipment as well as safety and housekeeping of warehouse and office facilities.
• Assign duties and examine work for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Assist in making deliveries as necessary to meet our commitment to our patients.
• Study and Standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
• Confer with other supervisors to ensure coordination of other warehouse activities.
• Maintain equipment structure and level to accomplish the warehouse and distribution mission in a safe, effective manner.
• Anticipate and request funding for future material handling equipment.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded and cleaned properly and efficiently
• Provide appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
• Provide reporting on the day-to-day activities in the department for Leadership Team review; work closely with Department leaders to ensure we are meeting company goals and clients are receiving exceptional service.
• Maintain a high level of energy and positive morale within the department.
• Responsible for screening, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
• Provide recognition, coaching, training, and discipline to employees as needed.
• Responsible for providing regular performance feedback, writing and administering performance evaluations.
• Available 24 hours a day/7 days a week including evenings, weekends, and holidays to provide support for staff and clients.
• Performs other job related duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Possesses high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Must be self-starter who communicates in a professional manner.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must possess a valid clean driving record.
• Previous experience or required technical/mechanical/repair skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement, problem solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to plan and manage projects.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise confidentiality in maintaining sensitive information.

Strength Aspects:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally to a height of 36”
• Body Position and Flexibility Elements:
-Ability to push equipment throughout the facility.
-Fine motor skills are adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, set-up and delivery.
-Frequently required to bend down at the waist to a torso level of 24” above the floor.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and print documents; and to operate assigned equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
