The Production Supervisor will lead and improve production operations. This role will assign work and train and supervise production Team Members. This role will troubleshoot work order and assembly issues, review and approve production builds and work with Manufacturing Engineers on implementing projects including assembly flow and layouts, workstation standardization, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Assign work orders to Team Members.
- Train production Team Members on new products, tooling, equipment, and process revisions.
- Supervise leads, assemblers, and material handlers directly. Complete performance evaluations. Collaborate with manager and HR to resolve Team Member performance issues and provide feedback in a timely manner.
- Work cross-functionally to support manufacturing processes, resolve problems, and identify potential solutions. Identify and recommend staffing, tooling, and layout needs and changes to improve efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot processes, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to Manufacturing Engineering.
- Process order transactions into ERP system.
- Identify any tooling or Team Member skill issues and escalate to manager.
- Must demonstrate commitment, dependability , punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager.
- Lead the twice daily ergo exercises.
- Assemble, disassemble fixture and test and package product.
- Promote and support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, and other continuous improvement activities.
- Identify and execute ergonomic improvements to improve safety and reduce occupational injuries.
- Support the resolution of shop floor quality problems working with Quality and Production.
- Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

- Fully present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2 years of previous production supervisory or production lead experience is required.
- 2 years or more years of production assembly experience is required.
- Working knowledge of lighting fixtures, including ability to follow a wiring diagram is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot parts and lighting fixtures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills preferred.
- Strong aptitude with office and manufacturing systems and software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail is required.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to problem-solve and achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat, and phone.
- Available to work 6:00 am – 2:30pm and overtime as needed.

Compensation Range: $25.00 - $30.00
