Job summary

Riverside Logistics in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team in our roll clamp operations. You will support the Warehouse Manager by analyzing workloads, scheduling, and billing activities, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer standards.

Responsibilities include daily communication with management and customers, maintaining high work quality, and enforcing safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ experience in a warehouse operations leadership position (Team Leader) required.
• Two to four years’ experience utilizing an electronic WMS system required.
• Three to five years’ experience operating material handling equipment (lift trucks, pallet jacks)
• Obtain a Riverside Logistics certification for lift truck operations within 30 days of placement; OHSA standards
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Riverside Logistics Supervisors are responsible for leading a team of associates performing warehouse functions as assigned. This position will be responsible for overseeing our roll clamp operations. They provide support to the Warehouse Manager in the analysis of workloads to determine work schedules and billing activities. Effectively communicates on a daily basis with management, peers, assigned team members and external customers. Ensures accuracy, work quality and strict adherence to company and customer specified standards/requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education required, college course work preferred.
• Two to four years’ experience in a warehouse operations leadership position (Team Leader) required
• Two to four years’ experience utilizing an electronic WMS system required
• Three to five years’ experience operating material handling equipment to include various lift trucks and pallet jacks
• Obtain a Riverside Logistics certification for lift truck operations within 30 days of placement in the position, certification must meet OHSA Standards
• Demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of products, e.g. Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to move or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction in English.
