Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for 1st shift in Reno, NV onsite. You will coordinate warehouse operations, lead a team, and ensure timely shipping, receiving, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving department and customer service/purchasing group to ensure quality customer support.
• Develop, maintain, and execute procedures for the quality handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving of materials.
• Assign daily job responsibilities to shopping and receiving department employees based on availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes.
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based upon availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes.
• Train and monitor shipping/receiving department employees in areas of job functions, company policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving departments and other departments to continuously improve the warehouse’s ability to service customers.
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies and procedures to promote increased business profitability, customer support, and employee well-being.
• Work with other groups within the Daikin parts organization as needed to resolve problems within the business.
• Administer company policies as needed.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $59,500.00 - 97,900.00 in NV. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
