Role Overview:

To remain a recognized leader, we are seeking a Production Supervisor that is a motivated self-starter, dependable and team-oriented to provide the best customer experience. We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, attention to detail and time management. This position completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on production summaries. These duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products, and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Accomplishes production goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
• Provides production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
• Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.
• Researches and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to improve efficiency of processes and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
• Performs other related duties as assigned and needed.

What Tredit Tire is looking for:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production role.
• 1-3 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Preferred proficiency in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Knowledge of tire and wheel industry desirable.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
• Understand the daily production schedule and perform work to achieve on time/accurate delivery.
• Well organized, with the ability to track multiple activities involving numerous details.
• Willingness to be part of a team.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum of oversight.
• Ability to work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Quality minded individual to meet our customer’s needs.
