Job summary

Rotech Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, and fleet management across multiple facilities. You will hire and train Patient Service Technicians and ensure adherence to safety and FDA guidelines while optimizing routes and deliveries.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in healthcare, two years in HME or related fields, and a strong background in inventory control, purchasing, and logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years home medical equipment experience preferred.
• Two years retail/HME service technician experience or purchasing/inventory control preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in healthcare is desirable.
• Background check, drug screen and credentialing may be required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse management and inventory control.
• Manage purchasing, delivery routing and maintenance of products and vehicles.

Responsibilities
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor who wants to be part of a company that makes a difference in patient’s lives. In this position you will be responsible for the overall warehouse management, inventory control, purchasing, delivery routing, and general maintenance of products and vehicles in facilities. You will also responsible for hiring and training Patient Service Technicians and all warehouse personnel.

• Manages FDA Compliance and review of daily FDA paperwork
• Meets with suppliers
• Processes purchase orders
• Maintains inventory
• Performs equipment maintenance and record keeping activities
• Reviews shipping notices/invoices for accuracy
• Supervises or performs warehouse receiving/distribution activities
• Routes deliveries as appropriate to promote time and manpower efficiencies and keep records of all routing
• Conducts annual evaluation of reporting employees
• Monitors Fleet reports
• Demonstrates and performs in-services on products to other employees
• Delivers equipment in the absence of drivers
• Maintains and monitors procedures for transfilling compressed or liquid gas according to FDA guidelines
• Maintains preventive maintenance program (Equipment Maintenance Records) for all equipment lines
• Manages IOP participation
• Supervises vehicle maintenance to ensure compliance
• Supervises warehouse personnel Orients and evaluates all subordinate employees to their job responsibilities and provide ongoing in-services
• Monitors personnel and vehicle records and maintains in accordance with Department of Transportation guidelines

Required Education And/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

Preferred Education And/or Experience

• Two years home medical equipment experience
• Two years retail and/or HME service technician experience, or purchasing/inventory control experience
• Prior supervisory experience in healthcare business
