Job summary

TPI Composites Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations in support of production and customer delivery. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement and shipping while driving safety, accuracy and efficiency.

You will coach and develop warehouse staff, maintain inventory excellence, and partner with Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality to meet plant objectives. Strong leadership, Lean experience, and bilingual communication are valued.

Qualifications

  • Degree in supply chain, operations, logistics or related field; combinations considered.
  • 3+ years in warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain with leadership.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS and inventory controls and planning processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive engagement and performance.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills; Lean/CI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control and shipping.
  • Ensure timely, accurate deliveries to support production schedules and customers.
  • Coach and develop warehouse personnel and foster accountability and teamwork.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and controls.
  • Monitor performance and drive Lean CI programs for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Coordinate staffing, equipment, and resources for warehouse and manufacturing needs.
  • Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and company policy compliance.
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions and sustainable fixes.
  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality and Operations.
  • Track KPIs and develop action plans to improve service levels.
  • Support employee development, performance management, and succession planning.

Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor serves as the operational leader for warehouse activities, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. This role is responsible for overseeing receiving, inventory management, storage, shipping, and production support functions to maintain uninterrupted operations and support manufacturing goals.

Through strong leadership and a continuous improvement mindset, the Warehouse Supervisor develops teams, drives inventory accuracy, optimizes warehouse processes, and partners with cross-functional departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement, and shipping activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through effective inventory controls, cycle counts, audits, and transaction management.
  • Monitor material flow and warehouse performance to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate staffing, equipment, and resources to support warehouse and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and operational issues, implementing corrective actions and sustainable solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse organization, inventory management, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure material availability and support overall plant objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to improve warehouse performance and service levels.
  • Support employee development, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education, training, and warehouse leadership experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, including team leadership experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, warehouse management, and inventory management systems, including cycle counting, inventory control practices, and materials planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through coaching, accountability, employee engagement, performance management, and employee development.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Additional Information

This position requires regular interaction with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure the effective flow of materials throughout the facility. The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to maintain a strong floor presence, support operational objectives, and drive continuous improvement through effective leadership and execution.

This position may be assigned additional responsibilities based on operational needs and business requirements.
