Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

You will supervise staff, ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to maintain smooth material flow. The role requires 3–5 years in warehousing with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, a strong WMS and safety knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; HS/Associate degree with 3–5 years' experience acceptable.
• 3–5 years in stores and logistics; 2+ years in supervisory role.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong WMS and inventory control knowledge.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification and equipment experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet production and customer demands.
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse activities, including inventory status, productivity, and safety metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and reduce costs.
