Job summary

Ziegler CAT is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive process improvements. The role emphasizes employee development and enhanced customer satisfaction through efficient workflow and reliable service.

Key responsibilities include managing freight, routes, and scheduling; setting procedures; and collaborating with the Parts Operations Manager. A strong emphasis on safety, hiring, and conflict resolution supports overall department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a 4-year degree is preferred.
• 3 years of warehouse experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Office and Dealer Business Systems knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and review incoming and outgoing freight schedules and receipts.
• Supervise shuttle truck routes and scheduling to meet customer needs.
• Manage daily workflow by establishing procedures, prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work.
• Establish package tracking standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Promote safety policies and contamination control efforts.
• Work with Parts Operations Manager on customer, employee, and equipment issues.
• Interview, select, and hire team members following dealership procedures.
• Resolve workplace conflicts and communicate with the Parts Operations Manager as needed.
• Promote and model strong customer relations.

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily warehouse operations. This position will also focus on process improvement, employee betterment, and increased customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and reviews incoming and outgoing freight schedules and receipts
• Supervises shuttle truck routes and scheduling to ensure customer needs are met
• Manages daily workflow within the department by establishing operating procedures and policies and prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work assignments
• Establishes package tracking standards
• Works with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timeliness
• Promotes company safety policies and contamination control efforts, ensuring both are observed
• Works closely with the Parts Operations Manager with issues regarding customers, employees, and equipment
• Along with Parts Operations Manager, interviews, selects, and hires employees for their team, following dealership hiring procedures
• Resolves workplace conflicts, taking appropriate, respectful, and consistent action to resolve performance issues and communicates/works with Parts Operations Manager as necessary
• Promotes and models good customer relations

The pay range for this position is

$64,400.00 to $77,250.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
