Job summary

Ziegler Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, drive process improvements, and enhance employee development and customer satisfaction.

You will manage freight schedules, routes, and daily workflow, while upholding safety policies and strong vendor relationships. The role requires 3 years warehouse experience, supervisory exposure, and solid communication skills; a 4-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; a 4-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred; warehouse or parts experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Office and Dealer Business Systems knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and reviews incoming and outgoing freight schedules and receipts.
• Supervises shuttle truck routes and scheduling to meet customer needs.
• Manages daily workflow by establishing procedures, prioritizing and monitoring work.
• Establishes package tracking standards.
• Works with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timeliness.
• Promotes safety policies and contamination control efforts.
• Collaborates with Parts Operations Manager on customers, employees, and equipment issues.
• Interviews, selects, and hires team members following dealership procedures.
• Resolves workplace conflicts and communicates with the Parts Operations Manager as needed.
• Promotes and models strong customer relations.

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily warehouse operations. This position will also focus on process improvement, employee betterment, and increased customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and reviews incoming and outgoing freight schedules and receipts
• Supervises shuttle truck routes and scheduling to ensure customer needs are met
• Manages daily workflow within the department by establishing operating procedures and policies and prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work assignments
• Establishes package tracking standards
• Works with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timeliness
• Promotes company safety policies and contamination control efforts, ensuring both are observed
• Works closely with the Parts Operations Manager with issues regarding customers, employees, and equipment
• Along with Parts Operations Manager, interviews, selects, and hires employees for their team, following dealership hiring procedures
• Resolves workplace conflicts, taking appropriate, respectful, and consistent action to resolve performance issues and communicates/works with Parts Operations Manager as necessary
• Promotes and models good customer relations

The pay range for this position is $64,400.00 to $77,250.00 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.
