Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in Minneapolis is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct the team responsible for loading wine and spirits onto delivery trucks and managing inventory. You will supervise associates, ensure accurate picking, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires at least 3 years of warehousing experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. You will coordinate scheduling, training, and performance of staff to meet daily shipment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehousing or related operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other PC software.
  • Results-oriented with strong verbal and written communication and discretion.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytic and reporting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates loading of cases onto delivery trucks and ensures efficient truck loading.
  • Supervises associates and enforces safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Maintains storage area and inventory, records, and reporting.
  • Reports damages and ensures proper receiving into system and correct location.
  • Ensures unloading process is efficient and reduces breakage.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local warehousing and shipping requirements.
  • Handles workplace injuries and coordinates maintenance.
  • Performs HR duties per policy.

Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for staging or shipment.Job Description:Schedule:Monday-Friday12 - 9 PMJob Responsibilities:Ensure efficient truck loading process (picking orders and loading of trucks) while minimizing breakage. The processes involved are picking from full case pick lines, picking from the bottle room, and replenishment of both full and split case complexes in a timely fashion so the trucks can be dispatched at their scheduled starting times.Reports damage to equipment, product, and facilities. Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs.Report any product shortage or location problems.Maintains storage area and organizes floor space, adhering to storage design principles, recommends improvements.Ensure the process of unloading of truck and receiving of product is efficient. Eliminate breakage and ensure all product is received correctly into the system then placed in the correct location in the warehouse. Ensures the company remains compliant with local and federal laws and OSHA requirements.Handles work related injuries. Ensure that policies are compliant with OSHA standards.Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements and enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions.Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by maintaining and monitoring security procedures and protocolsDirectly supervises associates.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, CBA, and applicable laws.Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, adhering to policies and procedures.Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related business areaProficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentPreferred Qualifications:People management experienceKnowledge of systems utilized as it relates to logisticsBachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experiencePhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephoneOccasionally carry & lift up to 65 poundsOccasionally reach overhead, squat and bendFrequently walk and stand for extended periods of timeCompetencies:May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine.
