Position Overview

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will operate in a safe, high-paced, and fluid environment. You must safely optimize people and technology while ensuring quality in all tasks. You are responsible for the daily oversight of warehouse operations and ensuring compliance with all company policies.

Job Description

• Supervise the daily shift operations of one or more warehouse areas, including selecting, loading, shipping, receiving, safety, sanitation, replenishment, and product storage in a Grocery, Perishables, or Freezer Warehouse environment.
• Manage and supervise Warehouse Associates in fulfilling customer orders and general warehouse tasks.
• Instruct and oversee Warehouse Associates to ensure proper execution of quality, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with the Shift Manager to develop employee performance plans, coach, mentor, and guide associates, and utilize progressive coaching strategies.
• Manage key performance indicators: Safety, Retention, Productivity, Budget, and Quality (Shrink).
• Conduct safety, quality, shrink, and operational audits, encouraging responsibility and ownership among associates.
• Investigate accidents following company guidelines and document findings.
• Travel required: No.

Environment

• Warehouse environments include: Freezer (-20F to 0F), Perishable (28F to 60F), Grocery (50F to 90F).

Skills

• Knowledge of warehouse operations.
• People management skills, dependability, and deadline orientation.
• Physical ability to safely move merchandise up to 60 lbs., stand/walk for 10-12 hours.

Years of Experience

• 2-5 years of related warehouse experience; supervisory experience managing 15+ associates is highly desired; familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, voice recognition, inventory control, and labor management is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
