Job summary

POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, is hiring in Lenexa, KS. The role involves picking and packing warehouse orders, labeling, and maintaining documentation to ensure accurate shipments. You will also handle returns, stock storage, and basic inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and good verbal/written communication. Forklift experience is a plus, and the company offers growth and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls and packs merchandise from the warehouse to fulfill orders accurately and timely.
  • Ensure customer service by packing orders neatly with correct labels and documentation.
  • Check in and update returns and maintain clean work area.
  • Stock products in designated bins and assist with inventory tasks.
  • Troubleshoot UPS and LTL claims and coordinate with supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and maintain product knowledge.

Job description

Location: Lenexa, KS - 20, 14792 West 99th Street, Lenexa, Kansas - 66215

Pay: $20 - $22 / hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm and a rotating Saturday morning shift

What to Expect
  • Pulls and packs merchandise from the warehouse to fulfill orders in a timely manner correctly documenting and labeling assembled product with product code, description, and quantity.
  • Ensures customer service when packing the orders (pack neatly, correctly, label information correctly and sign off on the completion).
  • Checks in and updates returns.
  • Maintains a clean and neat work area within the warehouse.
  • Stocks products in corresponding bins.
  • Troubleshoots and problem solves UPS and LTL claims.
  • Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Maintains product knowledge and accurately distinguishes between products that have similar names/numbers.
  • Administrative duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in both picking and packing in a high volume warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills understanding the importance of accurate documentation and labeling.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs, UPS and inventory management systems preferable.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
