Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse functions, including inventory movement, ordering, processing, shipping and receiving. You will supervise warehouse and delivery driver staff, coordinate annual counts, and ensure safety and cleanliness across locations.

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, you will maintain inventory accuracy, oversee shipping/receiving, and collaborate with leadership to maintain efficient operations and staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree is required.
• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective warehouse performance and maintains inventory control of parts which includes monitoring cycle counts, accuracy of orders picked and shipped, proper placement of parts into inventory and warehouse equipment.
• Maintains warehouse standards including warehouse layout, inventory placement and warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Works with Parts Manager and Director to supervise and coordinate annual inventory counts.
• Coordinates and schedules location delivery vehicle maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Oversees the shipping and receiving functions at all locations.
• Oversees dispatcher or dispatching at the location.
• Hires and maintains staff of qualified warehouse and delivery driver personnel.
• May provide maintenance of warehouse facility.

Position Summary

Supervision

Supervises all warehouse and delivery driver personnel which includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
