Pay Rate: Salaried, Competitive

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description:

Join an award-winning, leading printed-bag supplier in the promotional products industry at our 225,000-square foot facility in Union, IL. Established in 1980, we are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations during the first shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Warehouse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency, maintaining receiving records.
• Supervise shipping staff to ensure all orders are completed daily.
• Conduct forklift training and certifications, maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain work schedules, time clock, and attendance records.
• Ensure proper and efficient picking using FIFO method.
• Oversee inspection staff to ensure proper material inspections.
• Monitor and order stock for perishable items such as tape, corrugated materials, and pallets.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of racking and storage areas.
• Communicate daily with second shift personnel.

Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate ideas effectively.
• Ability to work with skilled, unskilled, professional, and administrative personnel.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and logistics procedures.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
