Y. Hata & Co., Limited, a long-standing Hawai'i foodservice wholesaler, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead receiving, stocking, replenishment, order selection and shipping operations in our Honolulu facility.

Member of a family-owned company, you will oversee staff, ensure accuracy of outbound records, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while aligning with our core values. Salary range $59,000 to $77,000 with a Tue-Sat schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Three years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the food-service industry.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate receiving, stocking, order selection and shipping activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse staff in receiving, stocking, replenishing, and shipping.
• Oversee care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance in outbound area.
• Resolve discrepancies and trace item movements to determine causes.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Align daily tasks with company mission, vision, and core values.

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (7am to 3:30pm)

Position Summary Description:

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with receiving, stocking, replenishing, order selection and shipping of products and materials from vendors to customers. Supervises the overall facility, including maintenance, sanitation, equipment and physical plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with receiving, stocking, replenishing, order selection and sanitation.
2. Oversees and directs employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped.
3. Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures in the outbound area.
4. Works to resolve discrepancies, traces history movement of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommends remedial actions.
5. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
6. Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
7. Uses the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Qualifications:

Education/Training and Experience

Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or:

Three years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the food-service industry.
