Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and domestic freight operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Schedule hours, assign daily work, and adjust staffing based on workload to meet deadlines.
• Train new and transferred employees and complete performance evaluations.
• Set up and maintain procedures for new and existing customer accounts.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and ensure physical inventories are maintained.
• Build processes for freight handling prioritizing accuracy and quality.
• Lead warehouse safety practices, enforce OSHA standards, and support safety training.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and maintenance records are current.
• Order supplies from vendors and manage costs and vendor records.
• Communicate daily with customers, carriers, vendors, suppliers, and agents.
• Work with customers to build outsourcing programs.
• Partner with management to improve the inventory system.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers as needed; pick, pack, and release orders.

Location: Hebron, KY (near Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, CVG)

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 starting

Job Type: Full time, onsite

Schedule: 1st shift, 9am-5:30pm

Our client, a global logistics and supply chain company, is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for its Hebron, KY facility. In this role, you will lead the daily warehouse operation, manage the warehouse team, and make sure freight moves through the building accurately, safely, and on time. What You Will Do

• Supervise daily warehouse and domestic freight operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of warehouse or logistics industry experience
• At least 1 year of Supervisory or management experience in logistics preferred
• Forklift, reach truck, and stock picker experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions on customer and operational issues
• Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable with computers and data entry; WMS experience is a plus
• Professional, tactful, and able to negotiate with customers and vendors in person and by phone

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Frequent twisting, stooping, squatting, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs using proper technique
• Warehouse environment that is not climate controlled, with moderate machinery noise and powered equipment in operation
