Job Summary

Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse. Oversee materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures. Direct and supervise warehouse staff. Review the effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. Ensure overtime is maintained within the budget allotted. Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
  2. Account for all materials and supplies in the store facilities. Audit goods received into the warehouse.
  3. Coach and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and Medline Core Values.
  4. Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and accurately filled out.
  5. Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
  6. Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor, and review work progress and accuracy, direct efforts, and provide technical guidance on complex issues. Contribute to hiring, firing, and performance evaluations.
  7. Collaborate with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.

Relevant Work Experience:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $63,960.00 - $92,560.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
