Job Description:

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to strategically maintain the warehouse in compliance with the company's policies and vision. This position oversees operations at our fulfillment center in Gallatin, Tennessee. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, shipping, inventory, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse supervisor must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for millions of product orders every year. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to supervise multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
Ensures warehouse operates at optimum efficiency and quality in order to provide shoppers with a superior customer experience
Recruit, select, orientate, coach, and motivate employees
Schedule and oversee the warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for better productivity
Responsible for the Returns Operations
Plan work routine, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc). Responsible for regular KPI reporting for the continuous improvement of performance
Oversee and supervise the warehouse, and work with the management team and team leads on ways to improve or optimize warehouse procedures
Maintain and organize stock and maintain inventory
Maintain optimal warehouse space utilization
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
Receive feedback and monitor the operations team
Ability to lift up to 45lbs by yourself and anything heavier 2-person lift
Coordinates the annual physical inventory process
Responsible for reconciling vendor invoices related to the operation, including but not limited to USPS and UPS.

Requirements

Retail Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor experience (the storage of a retailer's goods and/or the fulfillment of online orders within a warehouse space.)
Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, robust decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Team player with organizational skills and Excellent communication skills
Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role supervising hourly employees
Proficiency with Shopify, and WMS software or similar
Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Licensed to operate a forklift
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
Ability to lift or move heavy products if needed
