Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a Golden State Foods subsidiary, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the Franklin Park, IL area. The role oversees daily warehouse operations, schedules staff, and ensures safety and efficiency across shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

You will monitor processes, enforce HACCP/DOT compliance, and drive continuous improvement through audits and data reporting. A forklift instructor certification and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices.
• Proficiency in computer systems and reporting (barcoding, warehouse systems, timekeeping).

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and monitors the day-to-day operations for the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded. (20%)
• Monitors loading, dispatch, and receiving times and making appropriate changes, ensuring compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations. (15%)
• Routinely informs and communicates with employees to ensure compliance with established warehouse productivity, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures. (15%)
• Conduct daily/weekly audits use Pre-Operating Inspection forms, operational procedures and programs related to shipping and receiving and implement necessary improvements to achieve expectations for availability, storage, sanitation and security of inventory. (10%)
• Monitors and completes numerous computer-based and manual reports and related paperwork, including time records, daily logs, damage reports, etc. (10%)
• Monitors product damage and audits routes to ensure reliable product delivery. (5%)
• Plans and schedules manpower. (5%)
• Plans and coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports. (5%)
• Conduct Safety Culture daily/weekly, and end of month observations. (5%)
• Maintain Equipment and maintain Pre-Trip maintenance. (5%)
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary. (5%)

Warehouse Supervisor – Franklin Park, IL

In This Role, You’ll:

Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse department, including administrative and clerical functions, to ensure efficient operations and a safe working environment. Schedules employees and monitors employee activities and equipment used to meet and exceed company objectives.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience:

The Schedule & Setting:

Onsite at QCD Chicago East - 10701 Seymour Avenue Suite 200, Franklin Park, IL 60131

Shift: Wednesday to Saturday from 5:00am to 3:30pm

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Range (Base Pay): $65,000 - $75,000K Annually
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
