Job summary

Wavepoint 3PL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure and improve the warehouse's performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through careful planning, organization, supervision and active participation in daily operations.

You will oversee receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, order packing and delivery preparation, schedule staff, maintain records, and enforce health and safety standards while striving for cost-effective processes and high service levels.

• Operation of forklift and other equipment.
• Space utilization and inventory techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations including receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of product, and inventory maintenance.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of warehouse staff; assign workloads.
• Receive, load, unload, store, and deliver product.
• Schedule, pack, and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; oversee deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain records and reports; manage inventory accuracy.
• Operate and oversee use of warehouse equipment; ensure maintenance.
• Ensure health and safety regulations; maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and budget-related needs.

Warehouse Supervisor Description:

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of product, and maintenance of inventory.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the assigned warehouse. employees; assign workloads to warehouse employees.
• Receive, load, unload, store, and deliver product.
• Schedule, pack, and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and prepare reports as required. Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse and file records and reports as needed.
• Operate and demonstrate the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards, and procedures and advise of budget-related needs.
