Job summary

Schneider Electric in El Paso, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide a team across receiving, warehousing, packing and shipping operations on 2nd shift. You will supervise, train, and develop staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

This role requires 2+ years supervising staff, 3+ years in manufacturing or supply chain, and strong ERP/MS Office skills. It emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 2+ years minimum experience directly supervising employees (e.g., performance appraisals, discipline, onboarding, goal setting).
  • 3+ years experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of receiving, shipping and warehousing processes.
  • Strong PC skills (Windows, Excel, Word, Access).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for supervising, coordinating, training, and developing one or more groups that are engaged in receipt, warehousing, order filling, packing, shipping, or processing of Schneider Electric products. Supervises, organizes, and assigns work to ensure it is completed in accordance with internally established procedures, good management practices, safety, and quality.

This position support our 2nd shift: Mon-Fri: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, some weekend work as needed

What will you do?
  • Guide your team in safety, health, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in receiving, storage, packing, and order fulfillment operations requiring knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, value add services, and production/order requirements.
  • Drive engagement of your team through teamwork, well-being, collaboration and understanding
  • Monitor and interpret logistics performance, cost, quality to evaluate efficiency, and continuously improve.
  • Identify, drive, and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the group
  • Responsible for employee performance, development, engagement, discipline, and continuous learning, etc.
  • Act as subject matter expert for material providing and handling strategies in support of all warehouse processes.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field highly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 2+ years minimum experience directly supervising employees (Ex: conducting annual performance appraisals, issuing discipline, hiring/onboarding new talent, creating and achieving department goals)
  • 3+ year experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain role.
  • Prior knowledge/experience with receiving shipping and warehousing processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate with empathy in a straightforward manner.
  • Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and diverse environment.
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and application preferred
  • Experience with ERP, SAP a plus

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
