Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems in Cranbury, NJ seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage and distribution of equipment, parts, and related items.

You will lead a team, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with Sales, Service, and Installation to forecast needs for upcoming projects.

This role requires 5+ years of warehouse experience including leadership, SAP proficiency, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
• 5+ years warehouse experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping/receiving, inventory management, storage, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff through mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, pricing updates, freight discounts, warranty credits, and returns in SAP/Salesforce.
• Monitor inventory levels via physical counts and system verification; manage par levels and restocks.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Installation teams to forecast equipment needs.
• Serve as escalation point for customer inquiries; resolve delivery and pricing discrepancies.
• Safely operate and supervise forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.

Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and distribution of commercial laundry equipment, parts, and auxiliary items. This role manages warehouse staff, maintains inventory accuracy, and partners cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with Alliance Laundry Systems standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including shipping/receiving, inventory management, storage, and compliance with company processes and local regulations.
• Lead and develop warehouse team members through mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, customer pricing updates, freight discounts, warranty credits, and returns in SAP and/or Salesforce.
• Monitor inventory levels via physical counts and system verification; manage par levels and restock based on business trends and utilization data.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Installation teams to forecast equipment and parts needs for upcoming projects.
• Serve as escalation point for customer inquiries; resolve discrepancies related to availability, delivery, pricing, and shipping schedules.
• Safely operate and supervise use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
