Warehouse Manager/Driver

A large commercial roofing company that provides quality products and services across the greater Pittsburgh area specializes in low-slope, commercial roofing. We are committed to high standards, using only premier, American-made roofing materials, and have a strong presence in the Pittsburgh region.

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager to oversee and perform all warehousing activities, including loading, unloading, trucking, organizing, inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining materials and equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Manage daily inventory control for inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
2. Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving from jobsites.
3. Ensure all warehouse materials and equipment are organized, stored, and tagged properly.
4. Address issues related to damaged, mis-shipped, or missing products.
5. Transport materials to and from jobsites and assist with loading/unloading.
6. Develop policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
7. Inspect equipment, perform maintenance or repairs as needed.
8. Analyze equipment needs and recommend capital investments.
9. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse facility.
10. Coordinate with superintendents to manage labor needs efficiently.
11. Schedule and coordinate deliveries with distributors.

Qualifications:

1. Mechanical skills, ability to perform simple repairs on small engines.
2. Physically capable of manual work including loading/unloading and outdoor work.
3. Pass pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol test, and background checks, including Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relationships with peers and contractors.
5. Experience operating equipment like stake body trucks and telehandlers.
6. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Experience/Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Valid driver’s license required; CDL or Medical Card preferred.
3. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform medium work (lifting up to 60 pounds), work outdoors in all weather, stand/walk throughout the day, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Some computer experience is required (email, scheduling, inventory management).
