Job summary

NOV is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations in a Texas facility. You will drive safety, accuracy, and efficiency across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while leading a capable team and ensuring ERP/WMS integrity.

You will coordinate with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Transportation to resolve issues, promote compliance, and optimize space and processes for throughput and cost control.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, ERP, inventory control, and supervisory experience.
• Must deliver solutions and decisions that are effective and impact NOV and our customer's organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe warehouse environment with required training, inspections, and timely corrective actions.
• Achieve targets for order accuracy, on-time receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined transactions, cycle counts, reconciliations, and corrective actions.
• Improve warehouse productivity and throughput while controlling labor, material-handling, and operating costs.
• Ensure warehouse transactions and records are completed accurately and promptly in the ERP/WMS.
• Develop a capable team through onboarding, coaching, cross-training, performance feedback, and succession planning.
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient warehouse space that supports safe movement and effective storage.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors, delays, waste, and unnecessary handling.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Transportation to resolve issues.
• Promote compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, quality standards, and inventory-control procedures.

• Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
• Provide continual evaluation of the group's processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
• Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include; training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
• Assist in maintaining KPIs to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Assist in inventory accuracy.
• Strive for continuous improvement in processes to increase throughput, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Plan daily labor assignments and adjust staffing to meet workload and service requirements.
• Monitor receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and material-handling activities for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, transaction discipline, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Ensure all company policies surrounding stock, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met and improved upon as identified.
• Track and report KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order accuracy, on-time shipment, productivity, and safety performance.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Transportation to resolve issues and prevent delays.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by challenging unauthorized personnel upon entry as to their needs, and report any theft, loss or missing items to manager immediately
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
