About the Role

Johnson Brothers is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our warehouse operations. In this hands‑on leadership role, you will help train new team members, support daily workflow, and ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across the shift. This is a labor‑intensive role responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift, both manually and with equipment. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 pm to completion or as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities
  • Assist warehouse management in directing daily activities, including loading, unloading, and order selections.
  • Train and onboard new hires on picking, palletizing, baler operation, jackpot operation, and general warehouse procedures.
  • Reinforce SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines for all employees.
  • Support, influence, and motivate team members to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management to support communication and workflow.
  • Use the warehouse management system to locate products, process orders, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, balers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Load branch pallet orders and support general loading/unloading tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment with proper housekeeping practices.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing all safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
