Pay Range

$18.00 - $26.80

Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. They supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators; and support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

Major Responsibilities

1. Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for efficient shipping and receiving.
2. Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
3. Manage warehouse aspects related to Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
4. Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs to ensure safety and efficiency.
5. Implement and oversee warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
6. Ensure all associates are trained and adhere to standard operating procedures.
7. Manage disciplinary processes, including counseling and warnings, to maintain productivity.
8. Address employee inquiries and resolve issues.
9. Coordinate with other departments for smooth warehouse operations.
10. Complete activity reports for management.
11. Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.
12. Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
13. Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP.
14. Ensure products are staged, stored properly, and inventories are rotated.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehousing or distribution.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, delegation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other departments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Availability for extended hours during peak seasons.

Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise levels are moderate to loud.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and 20-30 pounds frequently; handle or feel objects; stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly.
