Job summary

Metrie in Branchburg, New Jersey, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a fast-paced distribution team in the door plant. You will oversee day-to-day operations, emphasize safety, and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You’ll coach staff, run daily huddles, manage receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory, and partner with Sales and Purchasing to meet customer expectations. The role requires 3+ years in a supervisory warehouse environment and knowledge of SAP/WMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of doors, warehousing, logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.
• Experience leading teams through change while maintaining engagement and performance.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus!
• Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or related systems is an asset.
• Continuous improvement experience or Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Experience working in a union environment is a plus
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Partner with Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operational, addressing issues quickly when they arise.
• Help lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that support business growth.

What You’ll Do

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Branchburg, New Jersey Door Distribution Plant.

As our Warehouse Supervisor, we need your in-depth knowledge of operations to:

The Warehouse Supervisor needs to be available for all shifts (for coverage if needed). Scheduled shift will be Monday-Friday, Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

The base pay range for this role starts at $54,000-60,000/year. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
