QCD is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Riverside, Missouri.
This is a day shift position (Wednesday through Saturday, 5 : 30am until done, 10 hour shift) offers a competitive salary (paid weekly, commensurate with experience) and requires the ability to work comfortably in cold temperatures.
Responsibilities :
- The Supervisor must be active, willing to be on the floor, providing direction, spot safety concerns, lead their team from the front
- Supervisor must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, must have an understanding this is still a physical position.
- Must be willing to spend long periods of time in the Freezer and Cooler
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse department, including administrative and clerical tasks, to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Lead a team of 27 associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement work schedules and monitor associate activities and equipment usage to meet and exceed established performance objectives.
- Leverage expertise in warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and distribution center processes.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to effectively track inventory levels and manage workflows.
- Continuously improve operations through process optimization and identification of improvement opportunities.
- Apply knowledge of logistics principles and practices to ensure efficient and timely product flow.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills to address challenges and maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and operating forklifts and other equipment with proficiency.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, distribution center processes, and e-commerce fulfillment
- Proficient in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
