Tamarack Foods is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Supervisor. Would you like to work for an established food manufacturing company with a great reputation and a family-like environment? Are you a self-starter who hates being chained to a desk all day? If so, please read on!

General Responsibilities

Responsible for all warehouse activities and overall supervision of shipping and receiving operations. Manage warehouse employees to meet shipping and receiving plans while ensuring quality, cost, schedule, safety, GMP, and food safety standards. Oversee maintenance of all warehouse equipment and vehicles.

Specific Responsibilities

• Maintain and review records and paperwork daily for deficiencies.
• Assign daily tasks to warehouse staff based on needs and monitor proper stock rotation during shipping and staging.
• Ensure raw materials and supplies are stored correctly per allergen SOPs.
• Coordinate daily shipping manifests with warehouse and customer service teams.
• Communicate with suppliers/vendors for scheduling.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Work with Customer Service and vendors to set up delivery and shipping appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Background/Experience

Thorough knowledge of GMPs and food processing technology required. Prior warehouse experience in the food industry preferred. Forklift certification required. Minimum 5 years of inventory control and supervisory experience in food industry.
