Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Stockperson to manage shipment reception and inventory for our foodservice operations. You will verify records, unpack goods, check for damage, and coordinate with transport companies while upholding safety and HACCP standards.

This non-exempt role reports to the Warehouse Manager or General Manager and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work with accuracy, and maintain efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and distribute merchandise and supplies to stores.
• Process deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Stock shipments and verify packaging and labeling.
• Maintain inventory records using a computer system.
