Job summary

Colonial Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Person B to support receiving, shipping, inventorying, and storage of material, equipment, and products. The role helps daily operations and warehouse efficiency.

You will operate a forklift, prepare items for shipment, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory management.
• Flexible regarding non-standard work hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming deliveries.
• Open boxes, verify items received.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Record numbers of items received for distribution or storage.
• Sort materials on racks, shelves or bins by size, type or product code.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to the correct party.
• Convey materials from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Assist in transferring materials from Houston Production to San Benito Fabrication.
• Operate forklift to move stored items to plant or pickup locations.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift or pallet jack.
• Complete picking tickets and transport products to packing, shipping or production.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
• Assemble boxes, crates and pallets for shipping finished goods.
• Prepare UPS and FEDEX parcels for mailing.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Ensure all items meet customer shipping specifications.
• Operate and maintain forklift trucks safely.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Follow Reef policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
