Job summary

Houston Dose is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to safely manage inbound materials and outbound shipments in our Houston warehouse. You will operate forklifts, verify paperwork, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production needs while adhering to DOT and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience or the ability to become certified, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail with good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or ability to become certified.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Dependable with the ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and stage incoming materials.
• Prepare, inspect, and load outbound shipments.
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Verify shipping and receiving paperwork for accuracy.
• Inspect containers for proper labeling, condition, and closure.
• Ensure hazardous material shipments comply with DOT requirements.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping.
• Report on equipment issues, damaged materials, and safety concerns.
• Support production and maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and operating procedures.
