Job summary

ORS Nasco is seeking a Warehouse Worker II in Alabama to support inventory control, shipping, receiving and order fulfillment. You will ensure accurate records, prepare shipments, and work closely with teammates to meet daily goals while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or DC withInventory control, shipping/receiving, picking/packing, and bulk stock put-away is required.
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) including reach trucks and order pickers is required.
• Basic computer skills to use inventory management software are required.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inventory control by tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems.
• Perform bulk stock replenishment and put-away activities by accurately storing inbound inventory in designated warehouse locations using reach trucks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, and preparing outgoing shipments according to company standards.
• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including reach trucks, order pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks, to move, stock, replenish, and retrieve inventory throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
