Job summary

MEC in Atlanta is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle inbound/outbound shipments, ensure accurate paperwork, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. You will participate in cycle counts, use WMS and RF scanners, and report any damages or discrepancies while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires flexibility with shifts, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and prior warehouse experience. Training opportunities are provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Should be flexible with shifts and days as operation may require attendance on weekends or holidays.
• Experience working in a warehouse or with a freight forwarder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve high levels of profitable growth by analyzing orders for overages/shortages and reconciling paperwork before release.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Complete all trainings on time and participate actively.
• Update inbound/outbound shipment data in WMS (weight, dimensions, photos) per SOP.
• Ensure security standards and report irregularities to management.
• Assist leadership with training and operational development ideas.
• Receive, load, unload cargo, ensure accurate paperwork and check for damages or discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain warehouse floor space and safety-compliant environment.
• Prepare and palletize cargo, perform data entry, assist in cycle counts and inventory management.
