Job summary

1915 South Ashley is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound receiving and outbound shipping at our distribution center. You will move products safely, verify counts, and use RF scanners and the WMS to keep inventory accurate.

This cross-functional role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and adapting to varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent warehouse experience accepted.
• Experience: Prior warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, including pick tickets, safety procedures, and supervisor direction.
• Basic math skills required for counting, verifying quantities, and reconciling inventory.
• Ability to operate, or be trained and certified to operate, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound shipments — unload, inspect for damage, verify quantities and condition against PO/bills; report discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders — ensure accuracy before loading.
• Perform inventory control activities — cycle counts, location audits, stock rotation; report discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and organize product — maintain accurate locations and clean aisles.
• Prepare shipments for delivery — apply shipping labels and documents.
• Load and unload trucks safely — verify loads against manifests; use approved equipment.
