Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load and unload products in our Distribution & Fulfillment Center. The role offers multiple scheduling options and independence within a large team environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically active, and capable of working in a fast-paced distribution center with safety as a top priority. Training on scanning systems and forklift operation is provided where required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn our basic warehouse scanning systems.
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift or powered vehicle license where required.
• Basic counting, math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic communications.
• Reliable work of a defined full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Transfer materials within the Warehouse facility as needed.
• Transport loads up to 100 pounds and up to 250 pounds on occasions.
• Operate forklifts or other powered vehicles safely.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and co-workers at all times.
