Job summary

1915 South is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support inbound receiving and outbound shipping in our southeast distribution network. You will unload, inspect, and put away goods, pick and pack orders, and help maintain accurate inventory across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent warehouse experience accepted.
• Experience: Prior warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, including pick tickets, safety procedures, and supervisor direction.
• Basic math skills required for counting, verifying quantities, and reconciling inventory.
• Ability to operate, or be trained and certified to operate, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners, RF devices, and basic warehouse management software.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound shipments — unload, inspect, verify quantities and condition, report discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders — ensure accuracy and proper routing for delivery.
• Perform inventory control activities — cycle counts, location audits, and stock rotation.
• Sort, label, and organize product — maintain accurate location assignments and tidy aisles.
• Prepare shipments for delivery — apply labels and paperwork to distinguish product, customer, and destination.
• Load and unload trucks safely — ensure proper stop sequence and verify against manifests.
• Operate material-handling equipment — forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and related devices.
• Maintain accurate system records — use WMS and scanners to log receipts, picks, transfers, and adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area — follow 5S and safety guidelines.
• Comply with safety policies and support operational needs — report injuries and assist with special projects.
