Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle receiving, inventory, order preparation, and quality checks in a secured facility environment. You will maintain accurate records, operate pallet jacks/forklifts, follow safety SOPs, and ensure clean, organized storage areas while complying with client protocols and OSHA standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lb, basic computer skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequently; up to 35 lb for occasional lifting.
• Some locations may require a valid driver's license; an MVR may be run.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO for perishable items.
• Operate pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts as needed.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain logs and records.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety policies (OSHA, PPE).
• Ensure security of client and company assets; interact with clients and staff as required.
• Provide accurate administrative records (inventory counts, temperature/spoilage logs, inspections).
