Job summary

Bay City Electric Works is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Galt, CA to support Parts, Industrial, and Residential teams by managing daily warehouse operations, inventory flow, and materials handling. You will unload/load carriers, receive and put away materials, cycle count, pick and ship orders, and maintain accurate records.

The role includes coordinating items between BCEW facilities, 60–80% at Galt and 20–40% in San Leandro, with a company vehicle provided for inter-facility travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Experience performing inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Excellent computer and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload inbound trucks, verify against packing slips, and enter into ERP.
• Inventory management: perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy >99.95%.
• Order fulfillment: pick, pack, and prepare shipments for carriers with proper documentation.
• Material handling: operate forklifts and pallet jacks; restock locations as needed.
• Administrative duties: update inventory transactions, process returns, and support reporting.
• Respond to emails and provide status updates to internal/external customers/vendors.
