Job summary

Building Material Distributors Inc. | BMD - Specialty is seeking a warehouse associate for the night shift in Galt, CA. You will pull stock, load vehicles, and prepare orders for delivery using forklifts and order pickers.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience or distribution background preferred.
• Night shift schedule (4-day, 10-hour shifts) is required.
• Ability to read orders, labels, packing lists and basic warehouse docs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull stock from assigned warehouse areas per customer orders.
• Operate forklift or order picker when needed and authorized.
• Assemble materials for customer deliveries in loading dock sequence.
• Load materials onto semi-trucks, vans, and other delivery vehicles.
• Verify incoming freight counts against packing lists and inspect for damage.
• Restock merchandise and maintain accurate inventory in assigned areas.
