Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a Warehouse Specialist I. The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for safely receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools. They will also compile stock records in the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform basic administrative and physical tasks involved in receiving indirect/expense materials for Gilead sites, including documentation, Oracle transactions, physical movement, email communication, and forklift operation.
  2. Perform Oracle transactions related to receipt of all indirect/expense materials, troubleshooting issues affecting Gilead timelines.
  3. Support the receipt of raw materials and components for Gilead operations.
  4. Notify relevant departments upon receipt of items.
  5. Support physical examination of incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications and match paperwork.
  6. Identify deviations, escalate issues, and take independent actions to ensure timely delivery and return of unsuitable orders.
  7. Coordinate with internal departments for distribution of materials.
  8. Adhere to SOPs and cGMPs, and comply with safety procedures.
  9. Work on routine tasks and communicate workload progress proactively.
  10. Pick/pull materials based on Oracle Pick List.
  11. Prepare shipments for verification, pack products per SOPs, and support FedEx/UPS pickups.
  12. Palletize, V-Board, and shrink-wrap outbound shipments.
  13. Perform end-of-day inventory checks and load trailers.
  14. Handle transactions related to distribution processes, troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Valid Driver’s license.
  2. Completion of safety and task training certifications.
  3. High school diploma or GED.
  4. Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Details
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
  • Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
