Job summary

Service Partners in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a vital role in daily operations, using a handheld scanner, cycling inventory, and securing loads for transport. The job requires standing up to 12 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and previous warehouse experience; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, store orderly and accessible items, inspect stock for wear or defects, report to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and lifting up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job tasks.
• Any other duty as assigned.
