Job summary

Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company in Windsor, CT is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to support stocking, inventory control and shipping between internal warehouses and distribution points. This hands-on, fast-paced role requires accuracy, teamwork and the ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, with shifts starting around 9am and lasting until work is completed. You’ll contribute to efficient warehouse operations and help ensure on-time delivery to partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Experience with order fulfillment, shipping and receiving.
• Able to work in a fast-paced facility.
• Comfortable in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• WMS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments and loading dock operations.
• Stock product and maintain organized inventory locations.
• Consolidate aisles for efficiency and accuracy.
• Pull products based on priority orders and replenish.
• Prepare outbound shipments and print/manage labels.
• Stage product and palletize for transport.
• Coordinate movement of product to distribution locations.
