Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Town of Florida, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, and inspect orders and prepare shipments. You will use equipment to handle items and ensure accuracy and quality, following SOPs and safety guidelines.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and at least one year in a warehouse; basic computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring correct product quantity and type.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate forklift or order picker as needed.
• Pack orders for shipments via parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record order information on forms/records and affix shipping labels.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers and packaging to meet specifications.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count and maintain clean workspace.
