Job summary

Hatchet-Hardware is seeking a Warehouse Associate for Nassau (FT) to support receiving, storage, and distribution across the warehouse and store locations. You will help ensure accurate transfers, shipments, and stock levels while maintaining safe, organized work areas.

The role involves operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), coordinating with store managers and the inventory team, and adhering to company safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or receiving experience (hardware or retail experience preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes incoming shipments for the warehouse and retail locations, inspecting for shortages, overages, damages, and quality issues.
• Verifies shipment accuracy by comparing packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Prepares outgoing transfers and deliveries to stores, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
• Coordinates with store managers and inventory control staff to fulfill stock transfer requests and special orders.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and according to company and OSHA standards.
