POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for performing all required operations to process all Warehouse and MRO orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Operate a forklift, push pull, hand-truck or wagon to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials.
2. Be able to lift, push and/or pull material up to 50lbs.
3. Account for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and all other equipment that is used within the operations.
4. Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
5. Perform daily inspections on forklift and log the information into check sheets.
6. Unload materials/packages safely and accurately to their staging location, then safely transport materials/packages to their location destination.
7. Pull materials and products for production, warehouse, and or shipping by ensuring that label and product match, and skids are transported to its destination location on a timely basis.
8. Move product from its location or staging area into trailers.
9. Use radio frequency equipment for receiving, put-away, picking, returns and shipping functions, as required.
10. Input transaction data into SAP to maintain a running inventory balance.
11. Receive MRO spare parts using SAP and stock spare parts in designated location.
12. Accept MRO returned inventory and determine its disposition.
13. Properly document and keep appropriate records of transactions to guarantee the control of inventory. Ensure stock is rotated. Assist in daily cycle counts, reconcile stock records, assess min/max levels and review inventory activity. Assist in a yearly physical inventory and audit.
14. Identify and address any discrepancies in inventory amounts.
15. Working knowledge of shipping and receiving documents, packing slips, Purchase orders, Bill of Lading, MSDS, etc.
16. Ability to climb a ladder to stock shelves and retrieve materials as needed.
17. Receive approved requests from various departments for required items and issue the same to authorized individuals.
18. Create new item central store number and location.
19. Generate reports from SAP and utilize the data via excel documents for various needs.
20. Create Miscellaneous Shipment forms for domestic or export shipping.
21. Work independently and as a team along with our Own it Together value.
22. Understand and perform internal daily filing system including BOL’s, packing slips and documents from Vendors/Carriers.
23. Understand Environmental Health & Safety procedures for safe storage of flammables, evacuation procedure, hazardous spills, and use of fire extinguisher.
24. Proper housekeeping and ensuring work areas are in a clean and orderly condition, free from hazards.
25. Other duties as assigned by manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Fork truck Certified.
3. Experience with SAP; Shipping & Receiving.
4. General computer experience required in Word, Excel and SAP.
5. Excellent Safety Record.

Salary Range: LG5 - $18.03 - $28.86 per hour, based on experience.
