Job summary

American Furniture Rental, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Specialist in Secaucus, NJ. You will handle inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment on a first shift with occasional overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities include unloading/loading with RF devices, verifying paperwork in NAV, and ensuring items are staged and tracked accurately for deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for 90% of the workday.
• Strong oral, written, and reading communication skills.
• Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unloading/loading trucks using an RF scanning device.
• Comparing paperwork with NAV inventory system.
• Checking, scanning, and posting collections & deliveries.
• Confirming pickups and paperwork through the Logistics Dashboard.
• Touching up, reclassifying, and protecting merchandise in the warehouse.
• Lifting, carrying, and staging products for shipment.
• Inspecting items for damage before storage or shipping.
• Preparing inventory and filling customer orders according to pick tickets.
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (with safety always first).
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Specialist, you’ll be hands‑on, ensuring our inventory and shipments are accurate, organized, and ready to go. You’ll work 1st shift with occasional overtime based on business needs. Your day may include the following:

Physical & Mental Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds, climb stairs, bend, crouch, and stay physically active for extended periods
