Job Responsibilities:

1. Receive laboratory reagent kits and other inbound inventory, including verifying all data required by the lab, such as lot number and expiration date.
2. Match receipt to packing slips and accurately enter received items into the inventory system.
3. Organize and store received items based on date of receipt and lot number.
4. Issue kits to departments on a pre-scheduled basis and enter issuance data into the inventory system upon receipt of authorized forms.
5. Maintain entry of new products in the inventory system.
6. Interact with lab technicians regarding special requests and coordinate delivery to the floor.
7. Communicate with lab managers concerning current and future storage capacity requirements.
8. Review expiration reports for timely utilization or disposal and maintain data on expired product disposal.
